YEAR TRADITION OF TRUST. When our mother and father, Ruth and Clyde, married 66 years ago, they were starting out on a great adventure which would produce some amazing results. They weren't rich, in monetary things, but they were beyond rich in what they would mean to each other, their children, and their community. The Tradition of Trust began with them. Their list of accomplishments is long and wide and includes way too many to mention here. They founded Ballard Ambulance. They raised three sons and two foster daughters. Clyde became a State Representative from the 12th legislative district, and eventually served as Speaker of the House. Ruth was by his side every day. They were dedicated to the Lord and their love flourished. And still flourishes to this day. Clyde and Ruth are a team. A team always interested in doing what's right and will help people. A team we, as a community, have benefited from in many ways. So, happy 66th anniversary to Mom and Dad, Ruth and Clyde.
