Mike Battis, raised in the Wenatchee area and a graduate of Wenatchee High, joined Ballard Ambulance originally as an EMT. Wanting to advance his knowledge and career, he then attended CWU, receiving his Paramedic degree. As a Paramedic for over 27 years and as Director of Operations for over 12 years, Mike is integral to making our ship run and hum. Mike was just elected to a third term as President of the prestigious Washington Ambulance Association, which involves working closely with the state legislators to improve emergency medical care. He was also elected to the Board of Directors of the American Ambulance Association, which includes responsibilities for 13 western states and involves trips to Washington DC to make policy decisions and be an advocate for sensible solutions on a national level. Ballard Ambulanco PARAMEDIC Mike and his wife Rachel live in Cashmere along with their sons Garret and Silas. We appreciate the years Mike has spent with us, and look forward to many, many more.
